Boston-area Road Things??

I really thought this was a St. Louis phenomenon, and I still truly believe it is, but occassionally, on the sides of the highways in eastern Mass. and southern NH, you'll find some interesting things. Recently, while driving to the train station, it seemed as if a truck carrying toys had turned over. Among the I-93 collectibles were:

-what appeared to be a an inflatable pool
-one water wing
-one sketcher sneaker

None, however, were obstructing the road.

And once I moved, I thought I'd have nothing to add! Silly me.
Of course, to all my friends still residing near to the Mississippi and elsewhere, if you tell me the object, the date, time, and highway, I'll gladly add it to my list.

Compiled from radio reports over the last 2 days

July 21, 9 a.m.-ish, westbound I-40, a "dumped load."
July 20, 4pm ish, I-270: a barbecue smoker
July 19, time?, road?, ladder
July 19, I-44 westbound, a mattress

aaaaaah! I wonder if there was anything yummy contained within the smoker?? ;) I suppose it doesn't matter to me; I am still a vegetarian.

Today's additions

Brian called me on my cell to inform me that KWMU reported a screen door on the road!

I also saw more re-treads and a trailer, unhitched, but filled with crap.
